n a rare and tragic incident at Hong Kong International Airport, a 34-year-old Jordanian ground worker lost his life when he fell from a tow truck and was struck by the aircraft it was towing.

The victim, an employee of China Aircraft Services, was found with severe injuries on a taxiway and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations suggest the seat belt may have been left unfastened during work.

The 60-year-old driver of the tow truck has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death, and he remains in custody pending further investigation, according to Hong Kong authorities.
